The Tigers baseball club is launching a unique stadium cinema experience this May to celebrate Family Month. This special event, called “Champ Field Cinema,” aims to give families more than just a typical game day — it offers a memorable entertainment experience right at the ballpark.
After games conclude on May 5th (Children’s Day) and May 24th, the venue will open up its central table seating area and transform the giant stadium screen into a movie theater for fans to enjoy.
Who Can Attend?
• May 5th screening: 500 spots reserved for Kids Club members registered in 2026
• May 24th screening: 500 spots for fans who have attended games this season
Everyone attending will receive candy treats as gifts. On the 5th, participants will also get a special reusable Teenieping character bag to take home.
Featured Film: “Sugar”
The stadium will screen “Sugar,” a touching family drama released in January that moved audiences nationwide. The film tells the inspiring true story of a child living with Type 1 diabetes and how the family courageously faces this challenging condition together.
