The LG Twins are transforming three consecutive home games into a special Children’s Day celebration. The festive series kicks off with matches against the NC Dinos on the 2nd and 3rd, culminating in a Children’s Day showdown with the Doosan Bears on the 5th.
Team officials announced their intention to create lasting memories for young supporters of both clubs during what will be the final Children’s Day series held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. The celebration welcomes fans from both teams to participate in shared festivities and activities.
Interactive Games & Festival Atmosphere
An event zone near the central ticket office will feature exciting challenges including “Strike Challenge” and “Batting Champion,” designed for young fans from both teams to enjoy together. The first-base plaza will be adorned with colorful bunting to enhance the festive spirit, while tattoo sticker and face-painting stations will add to the celebration.
A highlight of the series includes a joint autograph session featuring players from both the LG Twins and Doosan Bears. Before game time, young supporters from both clubs will unite to sing the national anthem together.
On-Field Activities on Children’s Day
The celebration reaches its peak on the 5th with special on-field events. Twenty selected young fans will compete in the “Batting King Championship” using T-ball on the actual stadium field. Following this, LG Twins players will team up with young fans for “Carrot Pull,” a fun competition where teams race to plant the most carrots in their designated zones.
The “Mini Olympics” will feature obstacle relay races including giant-foot walking and tricycle racing, giving children memorable experiences on professional baseball grounds.
Giveaways & Special Prizes
All attendees on the 2nd and 3rd will receive “Super Mario Galaxy” fans, with LG Gram laptops available as special raffle prizes. On Children’s Day itself, every guest will receive a “LEGO Starter Pack,” while raffles will award giant LEGO gloves and helmets.
Inning events will offer grand prizes including international flight tickets and accommodation packages for families of four. The cheer squad plans to dress in Super Mario costumes and kindergarten uniforms to amplify the festive mood.
The stadium scoreboard will display childhood photos of LG Twins players throughout the series, creating a personal connection with fans. Limited-edition photo cards featuring these childhood images will be available for purchase exclusively during the Children’s Day series.
