TWICE Makes History With 550,000 Fans on North American Tour

TWICE has made history as a K-pop girl group by attracting approximately 550,000 fans during their North American tour.

The group is currently on their global concert series “THIS IS FOR”. Their North American leg, which kicked off in January this year, spanned 35 performances across 20 cities, drawing an impressive crowd of 550,000 attendees.

With these numbers, TWICE now holds the record for the largest audience ever gathered by a K-pop girl group in North America.

Originally, the plan was to hold 22 shows in 20 cities. However, due to rapid ticket sales, the total number of performances was expanded to 35.

During this tour, the group created an electrifying atmosphere by opening their stage 360 degrees, ensuring every seat had a perfect view and generating massive fan excitement.

The setlist featured their mega-hit songs, solo tracks by individual members, and even a soundtrack from “K-pop Demon Hunters” that gained popularity on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, bringing the energy to its peak.

After breaking records in North America, TWICE is now set to achieve another first in Japan.

On the 25th, 26th, and 28th of the upcoming month, they will perform three shows at Tokyo National Stadium in Japan, a venue with a maximum capacity of 80,000 people, connecting with their devoted fans across the archipelago.
