BTS RM, 日 금연 구역서 흡연·꽁초 무단 투기 의혹

Controversy has emerged surrounding a member of the globally renowned K-pop group, who allegedly violated no-smoking regulations while visiting Japan.

A Japanese weekly publication reported that the artist was photographed smoking in areas where tobacco use is prohibited, including outdoor designated non-smoking zones and inside a building hallway. The incident reportedly occurred during a private gathering with acquaintances at dining and drinking establishments in the Shibuya district of Tokyo.

According to the publication, multiple photographs were released showing the individual smoking, and sources indicated that building security personnel issued a warning regarding the violation. Additional concerns were raised about improper disposal of cigarette remains.

The timing of these allegations coincides with the group’s recent performance schedule in the Japanese capital, where they held concerts over two consecutive days, drawing approximately 110,000 attendees to a major venue.

Neither the artist nor the management company has issued an official statement addressing the claims at this time.

The group is scheduled to continue their international tour with upcoming performances in Tampa, Florida, across three dates at a stadium venue.
