The commanding officer of Iran’s joint military headquarters recently met with the nation’s supreme leader and received fresh operational instructions, according to international media reports.
Military Readiness Briefing Conducted
Commander Ali Abdollahi of Khatam al-Anbiya briefed the supreme leader on the current preparedness status of Iranian armed forces. The exact timing of this meeting has not been disclosed by official sources.
“Our forces stand ready to respond to any actions taken by American or Zionist adversaries,” the commander stated. “Should they make a miscalculation, Iran will deliver a swift, powerful, and resolute response.”
Conflict Continues Beyond Two-Month Mark
As hostilities extend past the two-month period, Tehran has yet to provide an official response to Washington’s proposed ceasefire memorandum of understanding. Iranian military officials continue emphasizing their position of firm retaliation should additional attacks occur.
An Iranian army spokesperson warned that any future territorial violations would trigger unexpected countermeasures, potentially involving advanced weaponry, innovative tactics, and expanded operational theaters.
Leadership Maintains Low Public Profile
More than two months following his selection as supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei has not made any public appearances or released audio statements. Iranian officials recently confirmed for the first time that he conducted a meeting with the country’s president several days ago, marking the initial official acknowledgment of high-level diplomatic engagement.
