Former National Baseball Star Debuts on Popular Parenting Show
Baseball legend Oh Seung-hwan is making his reality TV debut alongside his young son Seojun, who is just under three years old. The pair will appear on the beloved family program that airs weekly, showcasing their daily parenting adventures.
A Remarkable Young Talent
During filming, young Seojun captured everyone’s attention with his extraordinary language abilities. Despite being only 35 months old, the toddler demonstrated impressive reading skills that left the production crew amazed.
The little boy charmed viewers with an adorable self-introduction before showing off his ability to read Korean characters flawlessly. He carefully pointed to each word in storybooks and read them accurately. Even more impressively, Seojun could read signs displaying medical terms like “dermatology” and “pharmacy” without hesitation.
Co-host Lallal watched in astonishment as the child even tackled English vocabulary, remarking that he appeared to be a linguistic prodigy.
Athletic Genes Run in the Family
Seojun’s talents extend beyond academics. The proud father revealed that his son clearly inherited exceptional athletic abilities, reaching developmental milestones much earlier than typical children.
According to Oh Seung-hwan, Seojun gained neck control at just one month old and began walking between seven and eight months—significantly ahead of schedule. The baseball star expressed joy at watching his son’s advanced motor skills, noting that Seojun walks more confidently than many older toddlers.
The show featuring this father-son duo broadcasts every Wednesday evening at 8:30 PM.
