Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson is currently reviewing a U.S. proposal aimed at bringing an end to the Middle Eastern conflict, according to reports emerging on Tuesday.

The spokesperson stated in a media interview that Iranian officials are still examining the American plan and will communicate their consolidated position to Pakistan once the internal review process is complete.

A semi-official news agency noted that recent U.S. media coverage has included speculation and misleading narratives designed to create favorable conditions for the American administration and obscure shortcomings in what has been termed a “liberation initiative.”

The agency highlighted that one American media outlet reported on portions of a draft agreement under consideration, but emphasized that the proposal contained unrealistic and excessive demands which Iranian authorities have firmly rejected in recent discussions.

According to reliable sources, the agency clarified that much of the media reporting consists of conjecture and narrative-shaping, and that Iranian negotiators are currently focused exclusively on ending the conflict.

Nuclear-related matters are not part of the current negotiation phase, the sources confirmed.
