[단독] 430억대 소송, 다니엘 모친 소유 주택도 가압류…어도어 변호인단은 ‘전원 사임’

A major entertainment company has moved forward with property seizures targeting the mother of a former group member and a former executive, following a massive compensation lawsuit filed late last year.

Court documents reveal that seizure orders were approved in early February, covering multiple real estate properties owned by both individuals. The total seizure amount reached 7 billion won—5 billion allocated to the former executive’s assets and 2 billion to the mother’s holdings.

The former executive’s properties under seizure include an apartment in a central Seoul district and a villa in another neighborhood. The apartment had already been subject to a smaller seizure in December related to a separate styling fee dispute involving a company employee.

The villa property had previously been seized by another former employee involved in workplace harassment litigation against the executive.

The mother’s seized assets include a villa in an eastern Seoul district and an office space in a nearby metropolitan area. Legal documents were delivered to her in mid-February, while the former executive’s notice went through public posting procedures.

Property seizures are provisional measures that freeze assets until final court rulings. Owners cannot sell or use seized properties as collateral, effectively blocking financial flexibility throughout lengthy litigation.

Litigation Faces Potential Delays

The compensation case may face significant delays after all attorneys representing the plaintiff withdrew from the case in late April, just three weeks before the next scheduled hearing in mid-May.

The company must now appoint new legal counsel, who will require time to review case files and understand the complex issues involved. This could lead to requests for hearing postponements.

Defense attorneys previously accused the company of deliberately stalling proceedings after a schedule change request was filed two days before a late March preparation hearing. They have now submitted formal opinions requesting the court proceed as scheduled despite the attorney withdrawals.

Legal representatives for the defendants stated they were surprised by the sudden resignation and emphasized their desire to maintain the current trial timeline.
