Disney’s Toy Story 5 Arrives Next Month

The New Challenge
The story centers on a modern dilemma: Bonnie receives a cutting-edge smart tablet called “Lilypad” as a gift, creating an unprecedented crisis for Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and their toy companions. The gadget becomes Bonnie’s constant companion, threatening the traditional role of physical toys.
Promotional materials showcase the contrast between the confident, sleek tablet positioned prominently and the anxious expressions of the toy characters watching from the sidelines. The tagline asks: “Is the age of toys over?!”
Preview footage reveals Bonnie absorbed in her new device around the clock, while the determined toys resolve that “Bonnie still needs us” and prepare to prove their worth.
Creative Team
Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton, known for directing Finding Nemo and WALL-E, helms this project. The original voice cast returns, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Newcomer Greta Lee lends her voice to the tablet character Lilypad.
