Chinese EV Manufacturer Accelerates Future Mobility Plans
A major Chinese electric vehicle company is rapidly expanding into next-generation transportation technologies, including aerial vehicles, humanoid robots, and autonomous taxi services. The firm plans to begin mass manufacturing flying cars next year while launching large-scale robot production in the fourth quarter of this year.
Aerial Vehicle Orders Exceed 7,000 Units
The company’s president revealed during interviews ahead of a major auto show that they have secured over 7,000 pre-orders for their flying vehicle, with the majority coming from domestic customers. Manufacturing is scheduled to commence next year, and the company is currently working through regulatory approval processes with Chinese authorities.
Humanoid Robot Division Set for Expansion
The automaker will begin mass-producing humanoid robots later this year. Initially, these robots will serve customer service functions. Company leadership predicts that within 10 to 20 years, their robotics division could surpass the automotive business in scale.
Autonomous Taxi Fleet in Development
A pilot program for robotic taxis will launch in a southern Chinese city, with production targets ranging from hundreds to thousands of vehicles over the next 12 to 18 months.
The company is also exploring deeper collaboration with a major German automaker after recently launching their first jointly developed electric vehicle. Partnership opportunities span multiple areas and regions.
Currently operating in approximately 60 countries, the firm is aggressively pursuing international market expansion. Last year, overseas operations accounted for roughly 10% of total sales volume and 15% of revenue. The strategic goal is to increase international revenue to over 50% of total earnings within the next 5 to 10 years.
