Former SISTAR member Yoon Bo-ra has signed with The Entertainment, marking a meaningful reunion with industry figures from her past.
The Entertainment announced the exclusive contract with the singer-turned-actress, highlighting a new chapter in her career.
Yoon Bo-ra rose to fame as part of the popular girl group SISTAR, which was active from 2010 to 2017. After the group disbanded, she pivoted toward acting and appeared in numerous television dramas including Doctor Stranger, A Korean Odyssey, Quiz of God: Reboot, and seasons 2 and 3 of Dr. Romantic, as well as Paper Moon.
In 2024, she reunited with fellow SISTAR member Hyolyn to reform their subunit SISTAR19, releasing new music together.
The Entertainment was founded by Kim Kang-hyo, who previously worked as SISTAR’s manager. Yoon Bo-ra’s connection with Kim dates back to her trainee days, creating a longstanding professional relationship.
The agency expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “We are delighted to reconnect with Yoon Bo-ra based on the deep trust we’ve built over many years. We will provide comprehensive support across acting, music, and variety entertainment to help her diverse talents and potential shine even brighter.”
